This is an old photo of me.
I like it more for what it represents than what it shows.
I remember this phase clearly. I had just received my first payout and bought an old iPad. I had these small, hopeful dreams of trying digital art. I look jolly here, not because I had much, but because whatever I could afford felt exciting. Upgrade the phone, buy something small, feel like I was moving forward.
Time changes that.
There comes a point in everyone’s life, I think, when spending feels heavier. You start calculating more than dreaming. You hesitate.
While browsing my old photos for the contest, this one stopped me. Not because it’s special but because it reminded me that nothing really mattered back then except being happy. And maybe that’s still the only thing that ever mattered.
