Hoy estaba el estudio de mi casa, realizando unos trabajos en la computadora y una cosa tan simple como lo es un vaso de agua me llamo mucho la atención. En este caso, no es solo el vaso verde sobre la mesa, sino la sombra que aparece a su lado, la cual crea un gran efecto, a pesar de que el color de vaso es mucho más llamativo, la sombra marcar territorio y hace algo único.
Today I was in my home office, working on the computer, when something as simple as a glass of water really caught my attention. In this case, it’s not just the green glass on the table, but the shadow next to it, which creates a striking effect. Even though the color of the glass is much more eye-catching, the shadow stands out and makes it unique.
En el estudio la luz es fuerte y por eso cae sobre el vaso y crea la sombra que se ve marcadas sobre la madera, además desde cualquier ángulo se puede originar el efecto. Esa es una escena que se repite muchas veces en mi día a día, pero nunca me había detenido a detallarla, donde aquí la sombra acompaña al vaso, ya sea lleno o vacío, generando una fotografía muy interesante.
The light in the studio is bright, so it falls on the glass and casts a shadow that is clearly visible on the wood; moreover, this effect can be seen from any angle. This is a scene that repeats itself many times in my daily life, but I had never stopped to examine it closely—here, the shadow accompanies the glass, whether it is full or empty, creating a very interesting photograph.
Muchas veces en el día a día estamos rodeados de sombras y nunca les prestamos atención, pero cuando tomamos fotografía es el momento donde más detallamos y se vuelven muy interesantes, donde la sombra así sea pequeña o grande le dan profundidad, equilibrio y hacen que una imagen simple tenga más personalidad.
In our daily lives, we’re often surrounded by shadows and never pay them any mind, but when we take a photograph, that’s when we really start to notice the details, and they become fascinating. Whether small or large, shadows add depth and balance, giving a simple image more character.
