We’ve had a little taste of summer today, warm and sunny. It's the kind of weather that changes the feel of a walk completely, because I can go shadow hunting. While out walking, I noticed the shadow of a fern beside a garlic plant stretching across the stone pathway. The thin fronds of the fern created a delicate pattern on the ground.
This is my entry to the Shadow Hunter's Community #SMASh Contest - Round 427.
Further along the path, it looked like someone had been doing a bit of weeding and left the wheelbarrow behind for a while, maybe stopping for a well earned cuppa. The sunlight created a shadow beside it.
Back in my own village, a wooden fence cast a long pattern across the angler’s platform, and the yellow irises made the scene even prettier.
Unfortunately, I didn't find a four leaf clover for good luck this time, but I will take it, nonetheless. After all, a bit of sunshine already makes you feel lucky. I hope it lasts.
Thank you to and the team for running the Shadow Hunter's Contest .
