I couldn't have picked a better day to visit a local stately home to catch a few shadows!
In 2002, the hall was bought by the Harrison family. Emma and her husband, Jim purchased the house and worked hard to return some of the features back to their former glory.
Even though it is foremost a private family home, Thornbridge is also recognised as a popular venue for events and weddings.
It looks like a haunted house in black and white. It reminded me of the old black and white horror films I watched as a child. Perhaps I have too much imagination.
It was a nice little explore, an interesting place to call in and have a cup of coffee, a cream bun and a stroll around the gardens.
