50% of the beneficiary rewards to this post go in support of #hive-179017
i would like to reiterare my sincere appreciation to OCD for the support they provide. i am sure you all agree that the Shadow Hunters Community Boost Contest was something else!
last week i promised that if anybody managed to guess this week's image we would have more than just another parade. so as soon as the correct reply was posted i told all my friends to invite everybody they knew to a beach party. i just wish more folks could have shown up. anyway this is what in india is meant by the term "a swimsuit optional beach"
here's a little info about this contest for all the newcomers:
each week i post a mystery shadow image that you all try to guess what is making it. the first person to guess correctly gets a HIVE prize. later correct guess may get a pixresteemer nomination but there's no fun in everybody guessing the same thing. that's why there are POINT prizes for other guesses- the more creative, the more points.
normally the total prizes for this contest are 3 HIVE and 300 POINTS provided
by our ehived (that's HIVE- speak for esteemed) leader .
for the time being we also have a highly sought after special prize- the venwood prize awarded to the venwoodest reply. (that is HIVE-speak) for an extraordinary reply which stretches the limits of what is conceivable to the point where it bursts. bursts out in laughter, that is. the venwood prize shall only be awarded for advanced effort abounding with fantastical elucidation. a one-liner just won't do, the prize is 0 to 3 HIVE as long as supplies last. any contributions to this "prize fund" are most welcome and go 100% to prize winners.
now to finally reveal this week's image
that's it! there it is! while nobody guessed it was a pirate ship at a playground, some guesses were so close that the judges unanimously allowed them.
speaking of judges, i am always contemplating how to find the right folks for the job. fortunately, it just so happened that as i was walking by the seaside i spied three lads and knew right away that they were natural born shadow judges
i'm sure you'll agree it would be hard to find more perfect candidates so i asked them "who wants to be a judge for the guess the shadow contest?"
immediately all three shot their arms up in the air with a big excited smile. "me,me,me!!!" and so it was settled.
so without further ado here are the results
2 HIVE to:
for: the shadow reminds me a lot of the typical little houses with stairs and slides of the playgrounds for children.

for: the kid's playgrounds me and my daughter visit, throw similar shadows.
40 POINTS each to
for: Clearly that is a shadow of one of the pieces of Death Star debris that fell down on Endor that are used by the young Ewoks as an adventure playground nowadays ... May the shadows be with you ππΌππ€πΌ
for: It is a cheese grater made for giant size cheese
30 POINTS each to
for: Visualizo una mesa parrillera.
deepL translates this to > I visualize a barbecue table
for: this is an alien emerging from a freshly landed spaceship, since I can see one antenna shadow on the right.
for: Can be some shape fixing machine - you fold it and fix. π―π€π
for: Its an amour tank
20 POINTS each to
for: visualizo como un traje de robot o algΓΊn tipo de armadura
translation from DeepL I visualize it as a robot suit or some kind of armor

for: Probably some kind of barrier or fence. Maybe at a playground.
for: it's a stairs, maybe a fire exit ladder something like that. π
for: it is a shadow of a large gate with a canopy
that's it, a big thanks to all. i hope you appreciate this week's judges as much as i did. they are a part of what makes this contest so fun but sometimes they must also be strict. there was talk of awarding a venwood prize but ultimately they were looking for more elaboration in the reply. keep that in mind for the new contest which has already begun here:
