it is summer and i am enjoying it, especially now that i am retired. there are some things about summer though, for example, it's the season for flies. i am never particularly happy when a fly is flying around inside our house. they make a lot of noise, land on some food or on us, etc.. we have two fly swatters ready to swing into action at a moment's notice but when i saw a fly land on our bathroom mirror, instead of running for the swatter i grabbed my camera phone.
i didn't swat it, i shot it. then with me being satisfied with the capture and not wanting fly innards on the mirror i decided to let the creature go. a win-win situation for all for sure.
