back on the rocks again, this time with some shots i took last year under rare ideal conditions with the sun, wind, rocks and water all as close to perfect as one can hope for. there has not been a single day this year with such good conditions so i am happy i took so many shots when i had the opportunity
in pools like these i don't just point and shoot. at first sight everything looks awesome but i take a minute and search for the most interesting details and work out the best height to hold the camera. a meter difference in height results in a very different reflection and sometimes the best shots are from very low positions. other times there are things going on in the sky that may be better to include, in those cases the camera needs to be higher.
