SUNGLASSES A MUST IN THE SUNSHINE STATE
Greetings everyone!
Meet Peyton and Jordyn, two of my granddaughters who were lucky enough to come down to Florida to visit with Grammy and Pop during the cold month of February.
When we picked them up at the airport, they were so cute and very excited to tell me about their very first airplane ride. It was such a treat for them as mom said it was ok to watch TV on their own screens with earbuds.
As they ran to hug me hello, I had to laugh at the sight of them. They had on colorful facemasks and sunglasses.
I was surprised how comfortable they were in their face wear, the masks came off once we were in the car, but they were all about keeping on the shades, it was a very sunny Florida afternoon.
We had a terrific home rental this year, with lots of space and our own private pool. Within minutes of waking up those 2 were in their bathing suits and sunglasses. With each passing moment my "Joy Level" went up and out came my camera to record such a special gathering.
As you can see in Peyton's sunglasses, I was busy snapping away, a #reflection of the love I was feeling, so happy to have those two squirts bouncing around the pool.
If you look closely, you can see we had a gas grill as well as a palm tree framed in the reflection of the window next to and a pretty good view of the grill in the sliding glass door as my son joined us on the lanai that enclosed the pool and hot tub.
The view from the pool area was just stunning. A man made lake sat right behind the house and each day we were in awe of the sunrise that greeted us.
The palm trees that lined the house left awesome reflections in the pool, but I had to get up early to catch that view, I knew once the girls awoke, the pool would no longer be calm but instead full of ripples and splashes...
giggles, laughs and lots of content smiles from Grammy and Pop.
