Hello all my Hivian friends!
It's been a while, the last few months I have been in a time squeeze. Too much to do and not enough time. Same old story. Between the chores on the farm during the growing season and summertime vacations, it's hard to keep up, after all, I am a #silverblogger. It was a wonderful summer, we were able to get down to the Jersey shore for some sun, sand, and boardwalk time for the little ones. We all went to the annual Bluesfest in town which had some truly talented folks keeping us entertained for the entire day.
Swimming, fishing, campfires and cornhole were on the menu in August as my entire family spent a week at the farm. Stargazing is also a favorite of ours and this year we all saw a UFO, for real, in the dark skies in Upstate NY. But that's another story.
Yep, time does fly when you're having fun.
I missed you all by the way. 😉
But I am back now and looking to jump in with my first post in months. The #shadow #hunters community is one of my favs so let's get going.
It's called...
While sharing a weekend in June with the family at my daughter's home in Pennsylvania, the sun shined around the pool as Peyton danced and swirled, creating the shadows that we have here.
My sweet granddaughter asked me to take her photo, but not a picture of her but her shadow. True story, she is now a #shadowhunter expert at the age of 5. We fool around with shadows every time we are together.
Her tiny toes were in every picture, but it was her imagination that had her bending and stretching as she watched her shadow form on the walkway.
I often show her my posts and explain to her when she gets older she'll be able to blog about her shadows too.
Never too young to learn about something new, and have a few giggles with her Grammy.
Sending love and good wishes to all. Looking forward to catching up with y'all.
A BIG HELLO AND THANKS to my friend , you are amazing, I just love the #shadowhunter community.
