Recently, my wife decided to go entirely green with our outdoor setting. It used to be that our entire front yard was cemented except for some patches where our temple trees and some flowery vines are planted. But when the new subdivision road was elevated last year by at least a foot and a half, we had some catching up to do in terms of keeping the entire house's floor level as close to, or higher, than the new street level to avoid flooding during heavy rains.
We jacked up the front and back yards with soil to make them the same elevation as the new road. We intended to cement them just like before but decided to plant grass instead. So we hired a gardener to do the greening of our front yard.
Photos above show the gardener's work in progress while planting the grass. The photos below show how the garden looks now after the job.
The next photo will give you an idea of how the yard looked like before when it was still cemented.
This is how the same tree looks now.
The photo below is my entry to this Round 266. It's the same tree but with a different angle.
And that's it for this post. I hope you enjoyed it. Good luck to all the participants. Stay safe everyone and may peace be with you always.
