Hello, shadow and reflection hunters in the Hive :) How have you all been?
It's been quite a while since my last participation on the challenges as I have not been able to capture shadows or reflections for sometime until the husband and I had an adventure a few weeks ago (14th February) elsewhere and here's to share a few reflections caught on camera.
This is a panoramic view of Tabeo or Tabeyo Lake in Mt. Pulag, one of the country's National Parks located in another town.
It was quite hazy when these shots were taken and the clouds were a bit dark at some point. The area looks small and the farmlands seem of low altitude but it is actually high and yes, stretchy too.
The lengthy view of the area along with its reflection on the water looked like a torpedo to me, lol!
Similar photos, but not exactly the same have been shared in my previous post HERE. Some of these were screen captured from my video clips which unfortunately can't be uploaded due to my weak internet connection.
According to the husband, this leaning tree seems to be the favorite spot amongst tourists to have their photos taken. I think the tree and its dramatic reflection on the water is one of the lake's charms :)
It was our first time in that place and we were so fascinated with what we saw. We also learned that the town has 4 lakes and this is just one of them.
The reflections of everything around - the trees, the hills, the mountain, the sky and clouds are a sight to behold for me.
We spent hours on the road to get there and it was very worth it because we were able to enjoy the scenic mountains, farms and yes, the vast lake too. I say vast because apparently, the lake is about 2.7 hectares, the size of which my photos don't really show.
Until then, have a fantastic day (night), where ever you are!
