Documents and such needed to be signed, so we had a quick drive out of town yesterday afternoon. Well, the rains have come (with thunderstorms even), but the scorching heat, even at 3 pm, reminded us that it is still summer, and it is nice!
And suddenly, it's Fri-yay in DD!
I brought Yongi out for a wee sunbathing, and the generous sunshine had some cool displays in the yard; hence my effortless shadow hunts (as I didn't have to go looking for any). At first glance, this appears like a partial shadow of a grocery cart, or maybe not?
Or does it look like a basket? A car's carrier, perhaps? Not sure, but maybe because I already knew what it was, so my imagination seems to be limited, haha!
Well, I thought of doing a "guess-the-shadow" thingy with the above photos, but most Hive frontends don't have the "hide-and-reveal" feature as Peakd, so maybe next time? LOL!
But yeah, that is what casts the shadow. It is the large drum that the hubby unloaded from the truck and placed on the side of the driveway. We used this to fetch water and fill our water tank in BC, because for the first time in years, we have had difficulty getting water there.
Meanwhile, the hubby has been out and about these days, and the yard work has been stalled for a while. It's just crazy how many things we want to do, yet time seems to be racing by us, lol. The guy who agreed to continue with the job hasn't come yet, so we will have to bear with the clutter out there. (the photos below were taken last week)
Anyhow, while things are a bit out of order in the yard, my LilGuy and I will take care of the indoors today. We will start with the laundry basket, at least. Busy day ahead!😁
