Mid-morning, and we are still in DD. I couldn't bring Yongi to school, so we didn't go out early. We will skip the graduation ceremony and go straight to my sister's house for the celebration. And so I'm taking advantage of the time to get things done here since we will be off to BC again after the party.
But before that, here's to sharing some shadow hunts from different days in the previous weeks.
The LilGuy had been playing for a while, and when he got exhausted (more like bored), he lay down on the doormat for a little snooze and some sunshine. I was so amused on seeing him that I took a snap without realizing it included the shadows of his head (hair), of the metal panels of his playpen (and a mesh door screen), which we temporarily installed to keep him from running outside when the door is opened.
The spot has become his favorite space in the house, especially when we keep the door open. He sits or lies quietly and observes the outside, or howls, barks, or growls whenever he senses or notices someone passing by.
Meanwhile, these were out in the (still messy) yard, where he took his time sniffing on the dirt, the new plants, and everything else. His shadow on the second pic appeared as though it was that of a sheep's, lol!
And this was when he was on another day, when he spent some time on the artificial grass, just soaking in the sun and quietly observing the things around.
It's rare for him to stay calm when he is outside. He is usually excited and aggressive, which is why we make him wear a leash, especially since our place isn't fenced or gated. And with his energy, he can outrun us like he often did when he was left to play outside here in DD, lol!
Anyway, a fantastic Tuesday💚
