Greetings to this community. Delighted to participate in this initiative convened by : Reflection Hunters- Contest Round- 242.
El Cornito is a natural spot surrounded by bamboo, where the river and the lagoon carve a paradisiacal landscape in the province of Las Tunas, in eastern Cuba.
In these areas, the peasant décima raises its voice, weaving with guitar and verses the wisdom of the land, inspired by the life and work of Juan Cristobal Nápoles Fajardo, El Cucalambé, the most important Cuban writer of décimas in the 19th century.
Fifteen-year-old girls come to this lagoon or dam to have their photos taken, and at one end is the Cayak school.
In the waters of the Cornito dam, the bamboo trees that identify the nature of this beautiful place are reflected.
