I've written about how the ground floors of most buildings on Azikiwe Road serve as warehouses. These warehouses not only sell fabrics and textile materials, they're also outlets for second-hand items like office and home furniture, electronic devices, motor spare parts, bikes, clothes, kitchen utensils... you name it.
I've visited some of these warehouses selling second-hand items and picked up kitchen utensils, cutlery and other stuff. A visit to these warehouses, and you'll be amazed by the kind of quality and unique stuff you'll pick out there.
So one afternoon, as I walked past one of the warehouses on my way to meet a client, I spotted the cute shadows of the bicycles and rollators displayed outside the warehouse.
Snap snap, and I continued with my walk. 😂
Few steps away from the warehouse, and the shadow of this satellite dish peered it's head. You know what happened next. Hehehe.
The satellite is for one of the Pentecostal churches located around there.
And the final shot of the day - a Honda motorcycle popularly called ladies' machine here. can relate. 😂 I'm not sure what it's called in other regions, but whoever gave it this name is a genius because they're just perfect fit for females - portable and selzy. Lols. Unfortunately, I don't know how to ride one. 🙈
That's a wrap of my unplanned shadow hunting for the day. Lol. See you in my next blog.
Do have a fabulous week ahead!
