Reflection Hunters Contest – Reflections of a New Companion in My Craft
One of my passions has always been sewing. It is something I truly enjoy, something that connects me with patience, creativity, and the joy of making things with my own hands.
Not long ago, I was able to buy a sewing machine for myself—what we usually call here a “modern” one, because it is new, electric, and very versatile.
It has already become a very special part of my daily life.
In my room, I noticed some reflections of the machine on top of the dresser. The light from the space created subtle reflections that caught my attention, almost like the machine was leaving its presence not only in use, but also in the atmosphere of the room.
I stopped to look at it for a moment.
There was something beautiful in that simple scene. A tool that represents effort, creativity, and personal growth, reflected quietly in a familiar space of my home.
It made me think about how objects we value become part of our surroundings in more ways than we expect. Not just physically, but visually and emotionally too.
So I decided to share these reflections with you for this contest.

Concurso Reflection Hunters – Reflejos de una nueva compañera de costura
Una de mis pasiones es la costura. Es algo que disfruto mucho, algo que me conecta con la paciencia, la creatividad y el placer de crear con mis propias manos.
Hace poco pude comprarme una máquina de coser—como decimos aquí, una “moderna”, porque es nueva, eléctrica y muy versátil.
Ya se ha convertido en una parte muy especial de mi vida diaria.
En mi cuarto, noté unos reflejos de la máquina sobre la cómoda. La luz del espacio creaba reflejos sutiles que llamaron mi atención, casi como si la máquina dejara su presencia no solo en el uso, sino también en la atmósfera del lugar.
Me detuve un momento a observarlo.
Había algo bonito en esa escena simple. Una herramienta que representa esfuerzo, creatividad y crecimiento personal, reflejada en silencio en un espacio familiar de mi hogar.
Me hizo pensar en cómo los objetos que valoramos llegan a formar parte de nuestro entorno de más formas de las que imaginamos. No solo físicamente, sino también de manera visual y emocional.
Así que decidí compartir estos reflejos con ustedes para este concurso.
