Reflection Hunters Contest – Sunset Reflections on the Sea
I had the opportunity to capture a beautiful moment at sunset, when the light begins to soften and everything seems to slow down for a while.
In front of me was the sea, calm and open, reflecting the last rays of the sun. The surface of the water turned into a mirror, where the sunlight stretched and shimmered, creating a path of light that seemed to connect the horizon with where I stood.
It was one of those simple yet powerful moments.
The reflection of the sun on the water made me think about how nature gives us these scenes every day, and yet we don’t always stop to truly see them. The movement of the sea, combined with the fading light, created an image full of calm and quiet beauty.
I didn’t want to miss the chance to capture it.
Sometimes, a reflection is not just an image, but a feeling. A brief pause where everything aligns—the light, the water, and the moment.

Tuve la oportunidad de capturar un hermoso momento al atardecer, cuando la luz comienza a suavizarse y todo parece ir más lento por un instante.
Frente a mí estaba el mar, tranquilo y abierto, reflejando los últimos rayos del sol. La superficie del agua se convirtió en un espejo, donde la luz del sol se alargaba y brillaba, creando un camino luminoso que parecía conectar el horizonte con el lugar donde yo estaba.
Fue uno de esos momentos simples pero poderosos.
El reflejo del sol sobre el agua me hizo pensar en cómo la naturaleza nos regala estas escenas cada día, y aun así no siempre nos detenemos a mirarlas de verdad. El movimiento del mar, junto con la luz que se desvanece, creó una imagen llena de calma y belleza silenciosa.
No quise perder la oportunidad de capturarlo.
