While searching for a certain somebody's (not looking at you at all 🤡) #weekend-engagement post, which you can find in the Weekend community I was perusing through a ton of images just to find the right one. And I did, but only with hubby's help.
Side effect: While I kept scrolling and scrolling and scrolling and... you get the picture, my eyes fell on these photos here, which I think are perfect for the weekly #reflections contest of the Shadow Hunters Community. I know, I know I'm linking to a lot of communities, but in a way, communities are the best part of life. Think about it, your family is a sort of community, as are your friends, colleagues, etc. For not being a very social or peopley person I do like communities. They give a sense of belonging, especially here in the virtual realm, if you know what I mean.
If memory serves me right these were taken on Ruby Beach. We were driving from Sequim through the Olympic Pen towards the coast when we suddenly got a peek at the Pacific Ocean. And waves, surf - we couldn't just drive by, we had to stop. And it was so worth the stop.
Just look at this. It looks a little more sundown-ey than it was, I guess I edited it to the mood. But don't tell me that you would not have stopped for a stroll? If you do, I won't believe you. Just look at all that driftwood.
But these next ones here are the reason why I am entering this post into the #reflections contest. I guess I just have to decide which one of the photos. First or second, first or second? The second one, I think, because I always wonder which one is the reflection 😍. Or the first one - arrrrgh!
In any case, this concludes my short post and my little excursion to Ruby Beach, WA. That day we continued driving down to Astoria on the border to California.
It was a wonderful road travel day. And more of the same to come.
This is my entry to the #reflection hunters' contest #19 in the Shadow Hunters Community by
