When spring came and the air became warm, on Saturday morning Carola loved to have breakfast at the bar with a cappuccino and a large croissant, preferably with berries jam. She stood there pampering herself for a while, reading her never failing book and watching the world emerge from its lethargy. Then, when she was ready, she took her bicycle and went to the market to do the shopping.
Quando arrivava la primavera e l'aria si faceva tiepida, il sabato mattina Carola amava fare colazione al bar con una cappuccino e una grande brioche, preferibilmente con marmellata ai frutti di bosco. Se ne stava lì a coccolarsi per un po', leggendo il suo immancabile libro e osservando il mondo che usciva dal suo letargo. Poi quando era pronta prendeva la sua bicicletta e andava al mercato a fare la spesa.
