Hello everyone! It's always refreshing when you see the first light of daybreak, right? Well, in my case, it's quite the reverse because I look around to feel refreshed from keeping awake the whole night and sleep half of the day.:)
It was the 6 O'clock sunrise that greeted me when I opened our front door. I said WOW! It's a beautiful shadow hunting today! The sun shone gleefully with promise of a fine weather. I hurriedly got my RedMi-9T to take shots of these beautiful shadows of my balete (ficus) plant. It was a cool morning. I better hurry before is up!
After taking the side view, I focused on the front view with the sun at the back which created a good view of the shadows. After that, I looked at the result, I saw eerie shadow formations! Could it be the product of my imagination because it's All Soul's Day? Lol! But looking at them with intent, I even noticed a pair of eyes. Oh my!
On the front which I pointed with a red arrow, I can see the image of a wolf, it even had two ears, and the snout has red colour. Ugh! Seems like a werewolf and the second one resembles that of a horse! Going further, I can figure out a creation of a little man sitting on the branch. The rear shadows looks like different faces with piercing eyes! Even the pot has eyes. I even wondered why the bottle has two shadows!I guess those are branches of the Christmas flowers.:)
The cool morning seems to jibe with the cool morning shadows of the pathway. Well, the sun is getting high and time to go back to take my nap.
I've slept for some time. It was a dreamless sleep. Thank God! I was awakened by Francine as she was frantic and barking at me. I said why? Have a you seen a rat above the roof again? Yes, she barks heavily and agitated whenever she hears something running. The cat and mouse was raising again.:) but this time, it was not about them. She was asking for help for me to rescue her puppies that jumped one-step towards the kitchen and they couldn't go back.:) After rescuing them,I went to the terrace and saw long shadows.
**Shadows can tell time **
The side shadow of our balusters was slant and the front shadows seems to crawl over the bench! With such angle of the shadows, I can tell that it's already 3 O'CLOCK in the afternoon and I was right. The chickens at the back were cackling!
Indeed, shadows bring different creations and time. They're amazing shapes of everything we humans appreciate their beauties!
This is all for now, and thank you for reading and special thanks to the initiative of
and of the Shadow Hunter's Community.
