Hello friends and hello Shadows Hunters community, what a joy to return after a week. I hope that during these days everything has gone well and you have been able to capture several shadow photographs. I come very happy today to share my shadow of an Ashy Gecko on a wall. I hope you like my photograph and are not afraid of reptiles. More photographs like this will be available on my iNaturalist profile, as they are part of an observation.

Sphaerodactylus elegans is a species of gecko of the genus Sphaerodactylus, family Sphaerodactylidae, order Squamata. It was scientifically described by Macleay in 1834. The snout-vent length in males and females is 39 and 37 millimeters, respectively. It is distributed in Cuba, Haiti, and the United States. I know this species as Salamanca. I took these photos inside a house; it was approaching a lamp's light to hunt the small insects that were attracted to the light. Its skin is white and translucent, where some internal organs can be seen. It measures approximately 10 cm. Its black eyes are very striking. If you look closely, you can see one of the insects it caught in its jaws. Well friends, that's my post for today. I hope you have learned about and appreciated this interesting creature. Remember to protect the animals around us; ecosystems are very fragile. A big greeting and, as always, my best wishes for all the luck and success in the world. Bye bye!
¡Chau chau!
