Knowing that our oldest son was driving up for a quick overnight visit, I was hoping the weather would be nice. The quick turnaround was because he needed to cut some timber for a customer and then drop it off in Jersey the next day.
We got lucky!
The weather was perfect, the skies were clear, allowing the sun's rays to warm the chilly, late October air. It hadn't rained for a week and the ground was solid, which is always a good thing when operating the mill.
I knew going in that I'd be giving him a hand for the better part of a day. On a day like this, there was nothing else I'd rather be doing than enjoying the great outdoors with one of our sons.

What the hell is this.
I promise I've always kept everything GGG, as far as ratings go. I wouldn't have included these next two pictures if I hadn't finallllllllly figured out what was going on.
At first, I thought that I had missed something, wondering if BIGFOOT was letting it all hang out as he ran right past me, or if an ADAM AND EVE sales rep wasn't in the area.
Yup, that's a shadow of , now that's hilarious. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
It wasn't until I took a closer look at this photo,
did I realize she had captured her own shadow while taking a picture of us.
Okay, that makes a little more sense.
Shadows seem to pop up all over the place,
unexpectedly,
staged, or otherwise.
No matter the difference, creating them, looking for them, or just getting lucky,
they're the BOMB,
and thanks to the
