On my Saturday walks through the streets of downtown Caracas, once in a while, I stroll through Plaza Bolivar. It is a harmonious square with many ornamental plants, statues, antique lanterns and in its side streets you can find the Mayor's office, the Council, the parish house and the Cathedral among others.
The shadows of the trees and the lanterns reflected on the floor of the square caught my attention, as they give a certain warmth and calmness to the place. It is as if they should be there, in total harmony with the place.
