de tu historia,
de tu pasado y tu posible futuro.
Y te diste cuenta de que era tiempo
de usar la madeja del presente
para descifrarlo,
para comprenderlo,
para darle sentido
y volverlo alas en vez de ancla,
ilusión en vez de miedo,
una promesa
en vez de la condena
que siempre creíste que era, que eras.
Y aprendiste que solo hay que abrir los ojos
para que se disipe la oscuridad y se haga la luz.

Open your eyes
And one day you finally embraced your chaos
and made it yours.
You recognized it as part of you,
of your history,
of your past and your possible future.
And you realized that it was time
to use the skein of the present
to decipher it,
to understand it,
to make sense of it
and turn it into wings instead of an anchor,
illusion instead of fear,
a promise
instead of the doom
that you always thought it was, that you were.
And you learned that you only have to open your eyes
for the darkness to dissipate and the light to come.
