Hello 👋 my beautiful HIVE people, how are those posts going? I hope you're doing well despite the slump we're still having, and from the looks of it, it'll last a while longer, but since we're positive, here we go, devoting time and energy to our writing, which will soon grow 😁.
Today I want to share a post full of knowledge. Today is World Book Day, where the goal is to send a message to win back those readers who have unfortunately been lost due to so much technology, hoping and wishing they'll return so we can recapture the beauty of reading.
Today, April 23rd, the entire world is filled with letters and stories to celebrate World Book and Copyright Day. This special date was proclaimed by UNESCO in 1995 to honor books and authors, as well as to promote reading, the publishing industry, and the protection of intellectual property. The choice of April 23rd is no coincidence, as it coincides with the anniversary of the deaths of three giants of world literature: Miguel de Cervantes, William Shakespeare, and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, all of whom died on this same date in 1616.
But why is it so important to celebrate books? Books are much more than simple objects; they are portals to other worlds, windows to different perspectives, and mirrors where we can find ourselves. Through their pages, we travel through time and space, explore distant cultures, experience exciting adventures, and delve into the complexities of the human condition.
Reading is a transformative act with incalculable power. It nourishes us intellectually, expanding our vocabulary and improving our understanding of the world around us. It stimulates our imagination and creativity, opening avenues to new ideas and solutions. It fosters empathy, allowing us to put ourselves in the shoes of others and understand their feelings and motivations. Hola 👋 mi gente bonita de HIVE como andan esos post? Yo espero que bien a pesar del bajón que seguimos teniendo, y por lo que se ve durará un tiempo más, pero como nosotros somos positivos ay vamos, dedicando tiempo y ganas a nuestros escritos que ya pronto crecerán 😁.
Hoy os quiero compartir un post lleno de conocimiento y es que hoy es el día del libro, donde se trata de enviar un mensaje para recuperar a esos lectores que por tanta tecnología lastimosamente se han perdido, esperando y deseando que vuelvan para así rescatar lo bonito que es leer.
Hoy, 23 de abril, el mundo entero se viste de letras e historias para celebrar el Día Mundial del Libro y del Derecho de Autor. Esta fecha tan especial fue proclamada por la UNESCO en 1995 para rendir homenaje a los libros y a los autores, así como para fomentar la lectura, la industria editorial y la protección de la propiedad intelectual. La elección del 23 de abril no es casualidad, pues coincide con el aniversario del fallecimiento de tres gigantes de la literatura universal: Miguel de Cervantes, William Shakespeare e Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, todos ellos fallecidos en esta misma fecha en el año 1616.
Pero, ¿por qué es tan importante celebrar el libro? Los libros son mucho más que simples objetos; son portales a otros mundos, ventanas a diferentes perspectivas y espejos donde podemos encontrarnos a nosotros mismos. A través de sus páginas, viajamos en el tiempo y el espacio, exploramos culturas lejanas, vivimos aventuras emocionantes y nos adentramos en las complejidades de la condición humana.
