English
The cat Tito
This is Tito
He is a skinny cat, he has one eye smaller than the other, his fur is black and short, eyes are yellow like the full moon.
Tito jumps from roof to roof, he meows loudly when he fights, sometimes softly when he enters a yard looking for food.
Tito likes to play in the wet grass, just when doña Lorena waters her garden, Tito jumps out of his hiding place and rolls around happily.
Sometimes Tito walks with a limp, maybe he is lost or tied up in some street battle, other times his little eye is hurt and he looks like a pirate looking only through his big eye.
This cat is a stray, he doesn't want to be adopted, he lives in every yard in the neighborhood, he scares away mice and pigeons, that's why everyone always leaves him food, his favorite is the meat that Don Eusebio, the butcher, gives him.
One day Tito was encouraged to play with us. We gave him a book that talked about a cat. It seems that he understood and his big eyes got bigger. It was very funny.
He is Tito, everybody's cat, he doesn't have only one owner, he has many, sometimes he is here and sometimes he is there, the only sure thing is that Tito the cat will never leave us.
