Poema 1
Tú crees que estás allá
Pero no
Allá solo reposa tu cuerpo
Hace rato tu alma escapó junto a la mía
A un lugar desconocido por los dos
Allá levantaron su choza de nubes
Con almohadas de sueños
Allá permanecen fundidas en un abrazo inmaterial
Mientras sigues creyendo que estás allá
Y yo estoy seguro que no estoy aquí.
Poem I
You think you are there
But no
Only your body lies there
A while ago your soul escaped with mine
To a place unknown to both of us
There they raised their hut of clouds
With pillows of dreams
There they remain fused in an immaterial embrace While you still believe that you are there
And I'm sure I'm not here.
