Un trazo en la eternidad (microficción para Salvador Dalí) (Esp - Eng)

Salvador Dalí, ese extraordinario y extravagante artista español y universal, nació el 11 de mayo de 1904. Quise hacerle un pequeño homenaje con esta microficción.

Soy este dibujo, o esta silueta de mi sombra. Quizás no llegue a ser más que lo que nunca supe. Una oquedad que nada llena, y se extiende hacia dónde. ¿Esa será mi vida? Por favor, Galia, dime si existo, ¿o soy solo estos trazos que he hecho, sin intención de eternidad?

I am this drawing, or this silhouette of my shadow. Perhaps I will never amount to more than what I never knew. A void that nothing can fill, stretching out into the unknown. Is that what my life will be? Please, Galia, tell me if I exist, or if I am just these lines I have drawn, with no intention of lasting forever?
