FANTASÍA MARINA (PARA TÍ)

Fueron las frecuentes olas
que trajeron a mí
esas conchas nacaradas
con las que hice un collar
y fue a para a tu cuello
luciendo todo el mar
su azul profundo
y los cantos de las caracolas.
Con la arena húmeda
construí un castillo de sueños
rodeado de soldados cangrejos
que con sus temibles armas
cuidaban el castillo
de los invasores
que vinieran a secuestrar tu amor.
Y con la bruma hice el vino
para embriagarnos los pies
de sus cosquillas flotantes
como diminutos mundos de agua
con su vacío plateado.
Y como mago del mar
invité a los delfines
a que danzaran para tí
a tiempo que las gaviotas
dirigían la orquesta
al batir de sus alas.
MARINE FANTASY (FOR YOU)

It was the frequent waves
that brought to me
those pearly shells
with which I made a necklace
and it ended up around your neck
showcasing the entire sea
its deep blue
and the songs of the conches.
With the damp sand
I built a castle of dreams
surrounded by crab soldiers
who with their fearsome weapons
guarded the castle
from invaders
who would come to kidnap your love.
And with the mist I made the wine
to intoxicate our feet
with its floating tickles
like tiny worlds of water
with their silvery emptiness.
And like a magician of the sea
I invited the dolphins
to dance for you
as the seagulls
conducted the orchestra
with the beating of their wings.
