Cuando la ira venga a visitarte, hazle una trampa: abre un agujero, tápalo con hojas secas y ramitas frágiles, para que al pasar, caiga prisionera en el vientre de la tierra.
Pero no le pongas lanzas a la trampa. Si la ira se pincha, le salen alas enormes y vuela a buscar a quién morder.
En la trampa déjale queso por piedras, un libro de cuentos, un violín para que duerma y olvide las pesadillas.
Las dos mariposas (pág.61)
Dos mariposas que volaban en círculos contrarios a las manecillas del reloj, pintaron un remolino veloz en el viento; el amarillo se deshacía de las alas, ya era un arcoiris.
Rápido, rápido, rápido; tan rápido que los ojos no alcanzaban a tanta luz. De pronto, separaron sus rostros llenos de polvos, elevándose mientras se escuchaba la vocecilla firme del mariposo diciendo a la mariposa:
-¡Al fin, ya crees que te amo!
Se alejaron hasta donde las flores eran jardín.
El niño de la botella verde se quedó pensativo y feliz. Por sus ojillos entreabiertos, parecía que andaban zigzagueando los gorriones y las mariposas de todos los jardines de su infancia.
