The son of an NFL Hall of Fame legend, and an NFL player himself Kellen Winslow II will change his guilty plea to not guilty. This could be a percent setting case in regards to how the #MeToo movement is perceived in the public's opinion. With so many convictions, what will come from this last-minute turn of faith from Kellen Winslow II?
Accused of being a serial sex offender, he pleads guilty to sexual harassment of 3 to 5 women. All of these women claim that sexual harassment took place, 3 allegedly were rapes or involved more serious forms of sexual assault.
This is a burden of evidence against someone for a last-minute reversal in a plea.
One of the victims was caught lying about alcoholism and this may have shed some more light on the events surrounding the former NFL player.
The plea deal was adjusted as a 2nd trial date was set in regards to the mistrial. The guilty plea is being withdrawn from all counts. Assault with intent to commit rape is the new guilty plea set forth by Mr. Winslow's defense attorney after withdrawing the previous plea.
