On the last day of the season, I missed taking care of my advancement in Modern. What a bust! Now I have to work my way back up from the bottom in Bronze II.
Although at the beginning of the season in Modern I was already very fast into Silver with my Bronze summoners and then concentrated on my game in Wild with my Silver summoners. There I had a hard time and in the end I didn't manage to advance to Gold III as usual. On the third last day, I at least made it from Silver II almost to the finish with 51 battles.
One day and 17 battles later, I was still no further along, reaching a maximum ranking of 1880 points in between.
On the last day I still had a chance to make some battles, but I missed it.
So for the first time again in the current season since May 29, I'm fighting for silver chests, because that's all I managed to do.
My results can be summarized compared to the previous season as follows:
With only 25 victories out of a total of 44 battles in Modern to Silver III, but remained in Bronze.
With 163 battles, and still 17 less than the previous season, 85 wins were not enough to reach Gold III.
As much as I had firmly resolved to level up in Modern as soon as I hit the gold button as well, I clumsily didn't do just that when it wasn't enough for gold. I'm not at all sure why I didn't press the button right away, but I suspect because I'm having such fun playing with soulbound summoners and gladiators. And I had assumed once I hit gold in Wild, I'd still have something to play in Modern without wanting to run into silver opponents there.
Now that the new season has started, I'm really enjoying it again, as you can see in the following too-nice-not-to-share battle. (Whereby once again it is noticeable that my opponent only uses level 1 cards, which is certainly not a big challenge).

It's just too bad that I need all the more victories to reach silver again. That will definitely not happen to me in that way again.
The reward was not what I had hoped for. At least I drew a golden Lobb Lowland during the season, which is directly set up for my level in bronze, but doesn't help me to be able to play Gladiators in silver soon.

Am letzten Tag der Saison habe ich verpasst, mich um meinen Aufstieg in Modern zu kümmern. Was für eine Pleite! Nun muss ich mich ganz unten in Bronze II erst wieder hocharbeiten.
Dabei war ich am Beginn der Saison in Modern bereits sehr schnell mit meinen Bronze-Summonern in Silber und konzentrierte mich anschließend auf mein Spiel in Wild mit meinen Silber-Summonern. Dort tat ich mich schwer und hab es am Ende nicht geschafft, wie gewohnt nach Gold III aufzusteigen. Am drittletzten Tag schaffte ich es mit 51 Kämpfen immerhin aus Silber II fast bis zum Ziel.
Ein Tag und 17 Kämpfe später war ich noch immer nicht weiter und erreichte zwischendurch ein maximales Ranking von 1880 Punkten.
Am letzten Tag hatte ich noch eine Chance, ein paar Kämpfe zu machen, doch versäumte ich diese.
Ich erkämpfe mir in der aktuellen Saison seit 29. Mai also erstmals wieder Silber-Kisten, weil ich mehr nicht geschafft habe.
Meine Ergebnisse lassen sich im Vergleich zur vorherigen Saison wie folgt zusammenfassen:
Mit nur 25 Siegen von insgesamt 44 Kämpfen in Modern bis nach Silber III, jedoch in Bronze verblieben.
Mit 163 Kämpfen, und damit immerhin 17 weniger als in der vorherigen Saison, waren 85 Siege nicht genug, um Gold III zu erreichen.
So sehr ich mir fest vorgenommen hatte, in Modern aufzusteigen, sobald ich auch den Gold-Knopf drücke, so ungeschickt habe ich genau dies nicht getan, als es für Gold nicht reichte. Ich bin gar nicht sicher, warum ich nicht sofort auf den Knopf drückte, doch ich vermute, weil mir das Spiel mit den soulbound Summonern und Gladiatoren solch einen Spaß macht. Und ich hatte angenommen, sobald ich Gold in Wild erreicht habe, noch etwas in Modern zu spielen, ohne dort auf Silber-Gegner treffen zu wollen.
Jetzt, wo die neue Saison begonnen hat, erfreue ich mich daran nämlich wieder sehr, wie in folgendem zu-schön-nicht-zu-teilen Kampf zu sehen ist. (Wobei mal wieder auffälig ist, dass mein Gegner ausschließlich Level 1 Karten verwendet, was sicher keine große Herausforderung ist.)

Zu dumm nur, dass ich um so mehr Siege brauche, um wieder Silber zu erreichen. Das passiert mir so ganz bestimmt nicht noch einmal.
Die Belohnung fiel nicht so aus, wie ich erhofft hatte. Immerhin einen goldenen Lobb Lowland zog ich im Verlauf der Saison, der direkt für mein Spiel in Bronze ausgelegt ist, mir jedoch nicht hilft, bald Gladiatoren in Silber spielen zu können.
