Magandang buhay💛
We had the most abundant rain yesterday, and it lasted over half an hour (unlike the first downpour last Thursday). "What a blessing! Thank you..." I murmured gratefully, then picked up my phone to share the good news with the hubby, who was at the capital for a delivery. He was delighted just as I was.
We can finally switch off the sprinklers on the farms and save some fuel too, at least for this week, since the boys won't need to use the water pumps for their crops (in the other town). Truth is, fuel costs have jacked up our overhead expenses this summer. But alas, nature intervened and helped us before our budget became tight, so yay!
I'm certain everyone is just as thankful and ecstatic as we are for the week's savings. Speaking of which, it's that time again for our Slothly goals. Week 16 went by like a whirlwind, whew! It feels as though we have not done much in the past few days, and another week has arrived.
Anyway, let's see how the numbers are.
HIVE Saved is now 532 from the last update (452), indicating an addition of 80 HIVE. We are now halfway through the target. While it isn't much (considering the price of HIVE these days), it's still growth.
| YE Goal | Current Balance | Last Week | Growth (+ / -) | To Go | Note | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| HIVE | 1000 | 532 | 452 | 80 | 468 | |
| HBD | 200 | 31.351 | 0.595 | - | - | |
Meanwhile, real-life objectives are shaping up nicely, too. We are close to checking off one of our major aims for this year, thanks to the abundant farm produce in the Lil Kingdom. While it isn't vast, the fields there have been very generous to us ever since. Now, the big toy's body is finally getting the much-needed upgrade to maximize its payload. The hubby is chuffed, and so am I.
Grateful much, as always.
