Hello friends,
Welcome to our Tuesday’s art. I encourage you to join it to share your ideas or art process.
Best three posts will get a small reward from me.
First place will get 3 hives
Second place - 2 hives
Third place - 1 hive
I’ll be using my own hive to reward for right now. Hopefully together we can grow a great and friendly community where people can teach and learn art.
Upvotes and reposts are appreciated and used for the future rewards. Make sure to put a hashtag #artteachers and leave a link to your post in the comments.
The timeframe is one week from Tuesday to Monday, and next Tuesday the challenge will start over.
Ok, now let me share my morning watercolor sketch.
Materials
- Any watercolors
- Watercolor paper
- Small-Medium round brush
- Water
- Paper towel or napkin
I already had my pencil sketch prepared here.
So, first I wet the areas of the berries, where it will be red. I left a tiny spot dry, that’s for a highlight. I used two colors: red and plum color (for the shaded parts). In the bottom left part right next to the shade there is a reflection, which is lighter than shade.
I let the berries dry, and then paint the shadow from the cherries. I used a mix of plum and blue color.
Now it’s time for the stem. I used light green as a first layer. Let it dry a little.
Then I used a mixture of dark greens for the shaded part.
I hope you enjoyed the art process .
