You’ve probably heard the cost of living is rising. If you drive, eat, or flip light switches, you’ve likely experienced it.
So have I.
And as you may know, it’s already tough being an author. Not only must we contend with boycotts, occasional poor reviews, nasty picket signs, and random death threats from muscular chickens with ADHD and low anxiety syndrome, most of us must also contend with periodic doubt, negative self-talk, and that embarrassing photo we deleted from Facebook two blue moons ago. If you’re an author, or live with one, you know what I’m talking about.
Because it’s 2026 and my wife likes to eat (almost as much as I do), I have no choice but to raise the prices on my books. Soon, I’ll be raising prices across the board to reflect current reality and today’s book market.
But here’s the good news:
If you act now, you can get some books at deep, DEEP discounts. Why? For starters, because I haven’t updated prices in a while and some of my books are priced like it’s 1999 and Prince came back to start a new revolution. Another thing is that some booksellers have taken it upon themselves to slash prices on a few of my titles. Lucky day for you!
Below is a list of my books currently in print that are priced so low you’ll have to bend over to tie your shoelaces if you want to see them.
- I Am Not the King - The print version of my Christian testimony is $15.99 at Barnes & Noble but discounted to $13.97 at Amazon.
- Garden of Eden Anthology - Amazon and Barnes & Noble both have the print version of this book at $8.49. Amazon and Apple both have the e-book listed at $2.99. Angus & Robertson has it for $1.68 AUD. If you like audiobooks, you can get it almost anywhere for $5.99. Pick your retailer.
- Sulfurings: Tales from Sodom & Gomorrah - The print version of the second book in the Biblical Legends Anthology Series is listed for $17.99 while the e-book is $6.99 ($5.07 AUD at Angus & Robertson). Pick your format and retailer here.
- Deluge: Stories of Survival & Tragedy in the Great Flood - Amazon and Barnes & Noble both list the print version for $17.99 while B&N is showing the e-book at $2.99. Angus & Robertson has the e-book for $1.39 AUD.
- Biblical Legends Anthology Series Bundle - The e-book is listed everywhere at $9.99 or a foreign currency equivalent. Pick your retailer.
- Web3 Social: How Creators Are Changing the World Wide Web (And You Can Too!) - Barnes & Noble, Bookshop, and Books-A-Million all list the print book for $19.99. Amazon and B&N both list the e-book for $6.99. Audiobook prices are all over the place, but the lowest prices are at chirp ($11.99), downpour ($8.45), Amazon ($8.99 with standard audiobook membership package), and Apple ($9.99). Pick your format and retailer.
- Cryptosocial: How Cryptocurrencies Are Changing Social Media - Amazon lists the print book for just $19.99. Kobo lists the e-book for $12.99.
- These Are My Roots (And, No, You Can’t Have ‘Em) - Amazon lists the print book for $12.99 and the e-book for $5.99.
- Emberpuff And the Red Glow Collector - Amazon lists the paperback for $12.99.
These prices reflect the lowest prices available for each of these titles right now. I cannot guarantee the prices will remain this low for long, but I will guarantee the retail price will go up on all books listed. Additionally, I’ve got some old poetry e-books listed on Amazon for 99 cents (and one for $2.99). These will likely be de-listed soon. You can see the full library of these on my Amazon author’s page.
Most of these books can also be found on my author’s website at similar prices. Buy direct from the author and you’ll receive a free Cuisinart (in another dimension halfway between Tuesday and last Monday).
I’m not twisting your arm, but here’s your chance to make history: buy a book at bargain basement prices, support a well-fed (and able to prove it) author, and collect a work of art that might not remember your name after the next round of drinks.
Supplies available while prices last.
