Hola queridos amigos de Hive Book Club! Espero hayan tenido un gran comienzo de este 2026. El día de hoy quiero comentarles sobre como estaré llevando a cabo la planificación de mis lecturas de este 2026 y que pienso leer este año.
Con respecto a la primera, este año he decidido llevar mi seguimiento de metas en papel, de la manera más gráfica posible y con números y fechas tope, pues en años anteriores con solo limitarme a decir "leer más", honestamente no me ha funcionado ni tampoco me ha incentivado, así que este año decidi ponerme metas reales, quiero leer 15 libros de aquí al 31/03 y de no lograr esta meta en esa fecha hacer una revisión de porque no cumplí está meta. También hice una lista (me perdonan lo 0 artística) a mano, para tenerla en una cartelera en mi cuarto e ir anotando y tachando los libros que vaya leyendo.
Hello dear friends of the Hive Book Club! I hope you've had a great start to 2026. Today I want to talk to you about how I'll be planning my reading for 2026 and what I plan to read this year.
Regarding the first point, this year I've decided to keep track of my goals on paper, in the most graphic way possible and with numbers and deadlines, because in previous years, simply saying ‘read more’ has honestly not worked for me or motivated me, so this year I decided to set real goals. I want to read 15 books between now and 31 March, and if I don't achieve this goal by that date, I will review why I didn't meet it. I also made a list (forgive my lack of artistic talent) by hand, to put on a notice board in my room and write down and cross off the books I read.
La otra cosa a la que prestaré especial atención este año, es a qué estoy leyendo, no lo tomen a mal, yo amo leer por ocio, leer no novelas que me ayuden a distraerme un poco, pero al mismo tiempo hay temas que siento que he estado dejando de lado y en los que necesito formación así que leer sobre ellos me ayudara a cumplir dos objetivos del año al mismo tiempo y también quiero leer en físico, porque necesito desconexión de tanta pantalla.
Lo dicho antes determina mis dos primeras lecturas del año, que serán: "La chica de la nieve" de Javier Castillo, que es un novela de suspenso que ya poseo en físico y el segundo "La psicología del dinero" de Morgan Housel, porque necesito aprender a gestionar mi economía urgentemente.

The other thing I will pay special attention to this year is what I am reading. Don't get me wrong, I love reading for leisure, reading novels that help me relax a little, but at the same time there are topics that I feel I have been neglecting and that I need to learn more about, so reading about them will help me achieve two goals for the year at the same time. I also want to read physical books, because I need to disconnect from so much screen time.
The above determines my first two reads of the year, which will be: ‘La chica de la nieve’ (The Girl in the Snow) by Javier Castillo, which is a thriller that I already own in physical form, and the second, ‘La psicología del dinero’ (The Psychology of Money) by Morgan Housel, because I urgently need to learn how to manage my finances.
