Hola querida comunidad de Hive,espero que se encuentren muy bien. Como siempre, es un placer escribir por este medio para compartir con ustedes sobre el maravilloso mundo de los libros. No importa cuántas veces lo diga: hablar de historias, personajes y emociones siempre es emocionante.
Hoy quiero tocar un tema que, para mí, es muy especial: releer libros. Aunque me cuesta un poco hacerlo, hay historias tan bien escritas, tan cargadas de emociones y momentos inolvidables, que me hacen pensar: “Ojalá pudiera olvidar todo lo que leí, solo para volver a vivirlo desde cero”. Es como desear tener un poquito de demencia selectiva (¡broma, jeje!) solo para reenamorarme de esas historias otra vez.
Por eso, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes tres libros que desearía poder leer como si fuera la primera vez, y contarles por qué dejaron una huella tan profunda en mí:
Hello dear Hive community, I hope you are doing well. As always, it is a pleasure to write through this medium to share with you about the wonderful world of books. No matter how many times I say it: talking about stories, characters and emotions is always exciting.
Today I want to touch on a topic that, for me, is very special: reading books. Although it's a bit hard for me to do it, there are stories so well written, so full of emotions and unforgettable moments, that make me think: “I wish I could forget everything I read, just to live it all over again from scratch ”. It's like wishing I had a little bit of selective dementia (joke, hehe!) just to fall in love with those stories all over again.
So, today I want to share with you three books I wish I could read as if for the first time, and tell you why they left such a deep impression on me:
1.La Balada de Nunca Jamás/The Ballad of Neverland - Stephanie Garber
Tuve una relación amor-odio con el primer libro, no les voy a mentir. Al principio, Jacks, el Príncipe de Corazones, me parecía un mal protagonista. No lo entendía del todo, sus acciones me frustraban y no lograba conectar con él. Pero todo cambió en el segundo libro.
Ahí fue cuando todo hizo clic. Conocemos más de su pasado, sus motivaciones y su verdadera esencia. Ese enfoque más profundo lo convirtió, para mí, en el mejor personaje de la saga. Además, Evangeline también evoluciona de forma notable, y la relación entre ambos avanza de una manera tan intensa y adictiva que no puedes dejar de leer.
El final de ese libro me dejó loca. Literal, terminé buscando adelantos en el Instagram de la autora y hasta leí una versión pirata en español de lo desesperada que estaba por saber qué pasaba. Fue una montaña rusa de emociones que me encantaría volver a vivir por primera vez.
I had a love-hate relationship with the first book, I'm not going to lie to you. At first, Jacks, the Prince of Hearts, seemed like a bad protagonist to me. I didn't fully understand him, his actions frustrated me and I couldn't connect with him. But everything changed in the second book.
That's when everything clicked. We learn more about his past, his motivations and his true essence. That deeper focus made him, for me, the best character in the saga. In addition, Evangeline also evolves in a remarkable way, and the relationship between the two progresses in such an intense and addictive way that you can't stop reading.
The ending of that book left me crazy. Literally, I ended up looking for previews on the author's Instagram and even read a pirated Spanish version of it because of how desperate I was to know what happened. It was a rollercoaster of emotions that I would love to relive for the first time.
2. Rompiendo mi monotonía/ Breaking my monotony– Seli Orballo
Este libro es, sin duda, una de las mejores historias que he leído en Wattpad. Es largo, sí, pero cada página vale totalmente la pena. Los protagonistas tienen una química brutal desde el primer momento, y eso hace que te atrape desde el inicio.
Lo que más me fascina es cómo se desarrollan los conflictos y cómo todo tiene sentido si prestas atención a los detalles desde el principio. Si pudiera borrarlo de mi mente, me encantaría revivir esa sensación de sorpresa, esa emoción al unir cabos sueltos, y sobre todo, llorar y enamorarme como la primera vez.
¡Megalodón, tú eres una diosa!
This book is, without a doubt, one of the best stories I've read on Wattpad. It's long, yes, but every page is totally worth it. The main characters have a brutal chemistry from the very first moment, and that makes it grab you from the start.
What fascinates me the most is how the conflicts develop and how everything makes sense if you pay attention to the details from the beginning. If I could erase it from my mind, I would love to relive that feeling of surprise, that thrill of tying loose ends together, and most of all, to cry and fall in love like the first time.

3. Princesa Mecánica/ Mechanical Princess – Cassandra Clare
Como muchos saben, amo el mundo de Cazadores de Sombras, pero Los Orígenes ocupa un lugar muy especial en mi corazón. Y dentro de esa trilogía, Princesa Mecánica es el libro. El cierre perfecto. Un torbellino de emociones que todavía no supero del todo.
¿La razón principal? Jem Carstairs. Siempre he sido #TeamJem, y este libro fue como un “sí, acepto” gigante a mi amor por la lectura. Fue el momento en el que me di cuenta de que los libros se quedarían conmigo para siempre.
El epílogo me dejó devastada y con el corazón lleno a la vez. Todavía lo recuerdo y no sé si quiero llorar o volver a leerlo. Sin duda, desearía poder revivir esa experiencia como si fuera la primera vez.
As many know, I love the world of Shadowhunters, but Origins holds a very special place in my heart. And within that trilogy, Mechanical Princess is the book. The perfect closer. A whirlwind of emotions that I'm still not quite over.
The main reason? Jem Carstairs. I've always been #TeamJem, and this book was like a giant “yes, I do” to my love of reading. It was the moment I realized that books would stay with me forever.
The epilogue left me devastated and heart filled at the same time. I still remember it and don't know if I want to cry or read it again. I certainly wish I could relive that experience as if it were the first time.
Estos son mis tres libros inolvidables. Historias que me marcaron, me rompieron el corazón y me lo volvieron a armar. Libros que me hicieron amar aún más la lectura. Tal vez un día alguien invente un “botón de reinicio lector”, pero mientras tanto, me conformo con recordarlos con cariño.
These are my three unforgettable books. Stories that marked me, broke my heart and put it back together again. Books that made me love reading even more. Maybe one day someone will invent a “reader reset button,” but in the meantime, I'll settle for remembering them fondly.
