Navegando por #hive me topé con este Concurso que me pareció divino de inmediato porque amo la literatura y me identifico mucho conmigo ya que se trata de esas marcas de por vida que te dejan algunos libros cuando los lees y los haces tuyos. Es un Concurso magnifico que te invita a hacer una retrospección de tu vida así que estoy agradecida con la comunidad por alentarnos a seguir leyendo. Sin más preámbulos aquí mi escogencia.
Browsing through #hive I came across this Contest that seemed divine to me immediately because I love literature and I identify a lot with myself since it is about those marks for life that some books leave you when you read them and make them yours. It's a Contest great that it invites you to look back on your life so I am grateful to the community for encouraging us to continue reading. Without further ado, here is my choice.
Los Viajes de Gulliver fue un libro que me encontré en la sala de mi casa un día de fiesta. era mi cumpleaños n°7 y encontré el librito de bolsillo tirado en el suelo. Recuerdo que lo recogí, lo abrí y de inmediato quedé prendada de él. Pasé toda mi fiesta leyendo mientras el resto de los niños corría, gritaba y reía. A partir de allí mi vida cambió por completo, amaría los libros como a nada en el mundo y le haría honor a mi nombre "devorando" cuanto libro cayera a mis manos. Simplemente cambió todo en mi, ya dejé de ser yo para convertirme en una persona con mente mucho más amplia, con una visión algo distinta al resto y con una preferencia por la literatura fantástica. Amé ese libro y decidí comprar una versión adulta que aún conservo.
Gulliver's Travels was a book that I found in my living room one holiday. It was my 7th birthday and I found the pocket book lying on the floor. I remember picking it up, opening it and immediately fell in love with it. I spent my entire party reading while the rest of the kids ran and screamed and laughed. From then on my life changed completely, I would love books like nothing in the world and I would honor my name by "devouring" whatever book fell into my hands. It just changed everything in me, I stopped being me to become a person with a much broader mind, with a vision somewhat different from the rest and with a preference for fantastic literature. I loved that book and decided to buy an adult version that I still have.
El escritor Jonathan Swift, nos muestra con un libro de corte algo satírico, una aparente locura pues narra la historia de un médico que hace en general, Unos viajes a 4 diferentes lugares totalmente extraños y con nombres muy raros pero simpáticos. En el primer viaje llega a conocer a los los diminutos liliputienses cuya política es bien particular, luego en el segundo viaje llega a conocer a unos gigantes (Brobdingnag). En el tercer viaje conoce a los los honorables y creativos u ocurrentes Laputanos, y por último, se encuentra con los Yahoos y los Houyhnhnms, que no son más que inteligentes caballos. Como verán de cada viaje aprende y cambia su forma de ver al mundo además de pasar por infinitas aventuras.
The writer Jonathan Swift, shows us with a somewhat satirical book, an apparent madness because it tells the story of a doctor who generally makes trips to 4 different totally strange places with very strange but nice names. In the first trip he gets to know the tiny Lilliputians whose politics is very particular, then in the second trip he gets to know some giants (Brobdingnag). In the third trip he meets the honorable and creative or witty Laputans, and finally, he meets the Yahoos and the Houyhnhnms, who are nothing more than intelligent horses. As you will see from each trip he learns and changes his way of seeing the world as well as going through endless adventures.
Puedo afirmar con base que es un libro excepcional como toda la literatura clásica que está demás decir amo profundamente, por eso decidí estudiar Castellano y Literatura por mi amor a los libros y por circunstancias de salud que hoy no vienen al caso. Lo que si es cierto que en este concurso rememoré mis días de infancia y eso me causó placer y añoranza por no decir nostalgia. Así que invito a todo el que desee hacer el Concurso que no lo dude, está fantástico.
I can affirm on the basis that it is an exceptional book like all classical literature that goes without saying I love deeply, that is why I decided to study Spanish and Literature because of my love of books and due to health circumstances that are irrelevant today. What if it is true that in this contest I remembered my childhood days and that caused me pleasure and longing, not to mention nostalgia. So I invite everyone who wants to do the Contest not to hesitate, it is fantastic.
