Even though I've been in this community for a while, this is the first time I've ever written and published anything here. I've read several book reviews written by readers in this community, and I think most of them were positive. I was keeping up with the community in order to read some great recommendations. In case you weren't aware, I adore reading books and fiction. All of us do. We engage in this community for that reason. I can hardly contain my excitement as I share with you what I am reading right now.
I went to the mall with my friend a few weeks ago since he requested me to. In order to help him buy a present for his mother, who was set to celebrate her birthday that day, he requested me to come. He was my best buddy, therefore I didn't say no. In order to have a wide variety of options on our table, we wandered through the mall and entered various stores. Since her mother likes purple, we ultimately purchased a purple dress with a nice slit. I went to the ground-floor Booksale shop at that time to purchase a new book.
I discovered a ton of good ones as I searched the bookstore. Since used books are being sold at The Booksale, the prices are considerably less than the suggested retail value. The majority of my books are on topics like self-improvement, spirituality, and book writing. But at that time, I didn't think twice about buying a spiritual book because I believed it would help with personal growth. We spent a lot of time in the bookshop only scanning and skimming books, which irritated my companion.
About the book
Upward, Inward, and Outward: Love God, Love Yourself, and Love Others is the title of the book I bought. Daniel Fusco, the senior pastor of Crossroads Community Church, which has locations in Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington, wrote it. It was also printed and released in 2017. I told myself I had to read this book as soon as I saw the cover image. I was intrigued because I had never heard of the title before. What was stated in the Upward, Inward, and Outward book blurb?
About the chapters
I was genuinely shocked when I discovered the book's contents. Love God, Love Yourself, and Love Others have only three chapters. He does cover four sub-topics in each chapter, though. I find it incredible that there is a good breakdown for each chapter. The book's central idea was sufficient to encompass the fundamental to intricate ideas of love, life, and faith. Beyond the title, there was more. You feel an inner drive to read more of the book as soon as you begin reading it. like you're eager to learn.
About the realization
I was completely taken aback by how sweet his words were from the very first page of this book. Although I had never heard of Daniel Fusco before, I felt as though I had known him for a very long time after reading this book. Maybe our life experiences were different from yours. Because of this, I found some of his personal stories difficult to understand, but I used this as an opportunity to accept and become fully immersed in other people's experiences. The practice portion of this book is what I really enjoyed. The practice section consists of a series of questions covering the full subtopic you've read. It's merely a follow-up query that will enable you to put what you have learned into practice.
It lets me see things from a different perspective. I experienced strength, love, and wisdom. I thought there was a spiritual force at work in this book, and there were many things you could learn to make your life better. I respect the fact that our cultures, values, and ideas differ. Upward, Inward, Outward was a strong work in my opinion that somehow altered lives. I think that knowledge is power and that books are a great way to learn more.
About the recommendation
This book is for you if you enjoy reading spiritual and holistic literature. It might help you gain a deeper comprehension of who you are and how you relate to God and other people. A book that discusses the fundamentals of life, how it focuses on enhancing the quality of life, and fundamental applications that can help you deal with what you have learned. The original cost of this book is approximately $11.99 on Kindle and $15.99 on Amazon. I paid ₱180 for it ($3.14). By buying the book, I genuinely made a significant financial saving, and it was well worth it.
