First let me say a big thank you to and
(forgive a sister) for tagging me to join this brilliant initiative. Also, thank you to the sponsors. This is definitely a great way to get to know Hivers better.
I love to read. I enjoy it and it's the best way of escape for me. I look forward to any new book and I love being gifted books because for someone who loves to read, I get lazy buying it or procrastinate downloading.

This Initiative presented us with a few questions that I'll go ahead and answer...
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TIME OR PLACE TO READ?
I enjoy being alone. In fact, I love it. I don't do well in the presence of people and get really irritated when someone crashes my space.
My favorite place to read is in the comfort of my bedroom, dressed in just my underwear and a big shirt; covered with sheets. I enjoy the shadows of the four walls with my curtains drawn and the television turned off. If it's a novel, I get lost in time and sometimes forget to shower. Don't laugh 😒
WHAT MAKES YOU ENJOY A BOOK?
Hehehehehe. Okay. I read all sorts of books as long as my interest is piqued by either the synopsis or the cover. I don't have a particular reason why I enjoy a book. I just like to read. It's an avenue for escape and is rewarding with knowledge. I'm very introverted and if I'd have my way, I'd be indoor always with a book, naked and with a bottle of water. Get me a glass of coconut and pineapple juice too. I appreciate it. ❤️
DO YOU LIKE TO READ OUTDOORS, BEFORE BED OR ON THE BUS ON YOUR WAY TO WORK?
I love the comfort of my house and do pretty much everything there. If you ever come pay me a visit, I wouldn't be dressed properly and I would be reading if not cooking. I adore reading inside my house. The only outdoors I may enjoy is a secluded corner at the park or a hotel room. Like I said, I get irritated when disturbed and the last thing I want is having to look up from my book because someone needed to ask questions. And God give me patience when that someone refuses to actually go away...🙂
DO YOU FOCUS ON CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, THOUGHTFUL MESSAGES OR THE LEVEL OF INTRIGUE A PLOT GENERATES IN YOU?
I don't know if this means Character development in literature or literally but I do know I've been reading more self help books than usual. Why? I don't know. I have just been drinking every cup of liquid knowledge handed to me. One thing I think I may be trying to curb is my unstable emotions. I'm a sensitive person. The most sensitive I know but I don't show it. I hate feeling weak. So I've been reading and studying myself too to get a grasp on what I can do with a sea of emotions.

Also, I love to grow my Faith. I've read few faith filled books and my favorite is HOW TO MAKE YOUR FAITH WORK by Chris Oyakhilome. That book changed my life and my view on a lot of things. Also THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE by Rick Warren is another realm of faith building.
Also, when it comes to novels, I tend to feel too many emotions at once. I cry during sad scenes, laugh and even get really mad.
Reading The whole books in The Sterling Shore series by C.M Owens made me understand I love humor more than anything else in a plot. I laughed my head off reading TAMING A MAVERICK and I keep finding myself going back to LOVING WAR AND PERFECTLY TOXIC. I cried in IDENTICAL DISASTER and got unbelievably mad reading THE STERLING BOYS. It was a rollercoaster of emotions.
(Please don't try reading those books if you're not an erotic fan)
This is my entry to the contest and I invite and
to join this initiative.
