¡Hola amigos lectores! Siempre se habla de nuestros libros pendientes, aquellos que queremos leer o con los que nos gustaría encontrarnos. Pero poco se habla de las relecturas. Yo era de las que prefería leer libros nuevos porque hay tantos y tanta variedad que siento que no me va a alcanzar la vida para leerlos a todos (lo que es cierto). Claro que si un libro me gusta mucho lo vuelvo a leer, aunque desde hace 2 años esto se empezó a volver más recurrente. Es lindo volver a ellos porque nos encuentran en otra etapa y podemos llegar a descubrir cosas nuevas. Es por esta razón que hoy decidí traerles una publicación con los libros que tengo ganas de releer y los dividí en dos grupos: los que quiero releer porque me gustan mucho y los que quiero releer porque ya no me acuerdo nada de ellos.

Hello fellow readers! We always talk about our pending books, those we want to read or those we would like to come across. But little is said about rereading. I was one of those who preferred to read new books because there are so many and so much variety that I feel that my life will not be enough to read them all (which is true). Of course, if I really like a book I read it again, although since 2 years ago this started to become more recurrent. It's nice to go back to them because they find us in another stage and we can discover new things. That's why today I decided to bring you a publication with the books I want to reread and I divided them into two groups: the ones I want to reread because I like them a lot and the ones I want to reread because I don't remember them anymore.

Como pueden ver en esta sección se encuentra La huésped que es un libro que les dije hace poco que tenía ganas de volver a leer, ya lo leí unas tres veces así que sería la cuarta. Este libro es de ciencia ficción y nos cuenta la historia de unos humanos que luchan contra una especie nueva que vino a invadir la tierra y a apoderarse de sus cuerpos. Estos seres recorren planetas en todo el universo para habitar los cuerpos de la especie dominante de cada sitio, ahora le tocó a los humanos. Supuestamente con la intención de hacer un mundo mejor, ya que los humanos somos seres irracionales y violentos que no saben aprovechar sus vidas. Pero hay algunos humanos que se resisten a dejar sus almas y cuerpos a manos de estás criaturas y ahí empieza la lucha de nuestra joven protagonista que deberá compartir su cuerpo con otra alma y ambas van a aprender de la otra y de lo qué trata ser un humano con todas las emociones y sentimientos que nos caracterizan. Es una historia muy hermosa que nunca me canso de leer y siempre termino aprendiendo algo nuevo.

As you can see in this section you will find The Host, which is a book that I recently told you I wanted to read again, I have already read it three times so it would be the fourth. This book is science fiction and tells the story of humans fighting against a new species that came to invade the earth and take over their bodies. These beings roam planets throughout the universe to inhabit the bodies of the dominant species of each place, now it was the humans' turn. Supposedly with the intention of making a better world, since humans are irrational and violent beings who do not know how to make the most of their lives. But there are some humans who are reluctant to leave their souls and bodies in the hands of these creatures and there begins the struggle of our young protagonist who must share her body with another soul and both will learn from each other and what it is about being a human with all the emotions and feelings that characterize us. It is a very beautiful story that I never get tired of reading and I always end up learning something new.

Después tenemos Heartless, este se los reseñe hace un tiempo. El libro es una versión de la autora Marissa Meyer sobre cómo habrá sido la vida de la Reina de Corazones de Alicia en el país de las maravillas antes de convertirse en este personaje que infunde terror en sus dominios. Conoceremos a una joven con sueños y esperanzas que se verán truncadas a lo largo de la historia. Es un libro que sé que me va a romper el corazón, pero ahí voy. A este lo leí una única vez y bastó para no olvidarlo jamás porque me hizo sufrir bastante. Quiero ver si todavía lo logra o si la próxima vez que lo lea no sea para tanto. Ya veremos. A pesar de todo la historia es entretenida y si te gusta Alicia deberías leerlo porque realmente parece su precuela de verdad. Me encantó la conexión con la historia oficial.

Then we have Heartless, which I reviewed for you a while back. The book is author Marissa Meyer's take on what life must have been like for the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland before she became this character who instills terror in her domain. We will meet a young girl with dreams and hopes that will be dashed throughout the story. This is a book that I know is going to break my heart, but here I go. I read this one only once and it was enough to never forget it because it made me suffer quite a bit. I want to see if it still makes it or if the next time I read it it won't be that big of a deal. We'll see. All in all the story is entertaining and if you like Alice you should read it because it really feels like her prequel for real. I loved the connection to the official story.

Y por último, en este grupo se encuentra Marley y yo. Cómo digo siempre, los libros sobre animales son mi debilidad y este en particular porque soy muy fan de la película, cuando supe que estaba basada en un libro lo tuve que conseguir para leerlo. Lo hice hace un montón y si bien tengo la historia fresca porque suelo ver la película siempre que la encuentro en la televisión, me encantaría releer el libro porque nos cuentan otras cosas que la película no lo hace. Siento que ya es momento de refrescar esta historia. Además no solo trata del perro, sino sobre toda la familia Grogan y su vida alrededor de él. Se podría decir que es un libro autobiográfico del autor, ya que nos comparte aspectos íntimos de su vida y su familia. Sin dudas nos deja un mensaje muy hermoso sobre nuestras adoradas mascotas.

And finally, in this group is Marley and me. As I always say, books about animals are my weakness and this one in particular because I'm such a fan of the movie, when I found out it was based on a book I had to get it to read it. I did that a bunch ago and while I have the story fresh because I usually watch the movie whenever I find it on TV, I would love to reread the book because we are told other things that the movie doesn't. I feel it's about time to refresh this story. Also it's not just about the dog, but about the whole Grogan family and their life around him. You could say that it is an autobiographical book of the author, since he shares intimate aspects of his life and his family. Undoubtedly, it leaves us with a very beautiful message about our beloved pets.

Ahora vamos por este segundo grupo del que no les voy a poder decir mucho porque es verdad que no me acuerdo nada de sus tramas. El primero es El mar de la tranquilidad, en su momento este libro habían dicho que era muy bueno y me llamaba la atención la sinopsis, así que cuando lo publicaron en mi país lo compré para leerlo. Creo que trata sobre la salud mental, así que es un libro que tengo que releer ya que en ese momento no se solía hablar tanto como ahora del tema y se desconocían muchas cosas al respecto, quiero ver cómo está abordado todo y sí era tan bueno como siento que lo era.

Now we go for this second group of which I will not be able to tell you much because it is true that I do not remember anything of their plots. The first one is The Sea of Tranquility, at the time this book was said to be very good and the synopsis caught my attention, so when it was published in my country I bought it to read it. I think it deals with mental health, so it is a book that I have to reread because at that time it was not as much talked about as now and many things were unknown about it, I want to see how everything is approached and if it was as good as I feel it was.

Seguimos con Te daría el mundo. Lo que recuerdo de este libro es que me atrajo la portada y también fue una historia un poco hypeada en ese entonces. Trata sobre la familia, creo que habla de dos hermanos y la pérdida de su madre, y al poco tiempo se enteran que mantenía una relación con otro hombre. De este libro recuerdo que me había gustado mucho su historia, es por ello que quiero volver a leerlo, para saber si efectivamente era así.

We followed up with I´ll Give You the Sun. What I remember about this book is that I was drawn to the cover and it was also a bit of a hype story at the time. It's about family, I think it talks about two brothers and the loss of their mother, and soon after they find out that she was in a relationship with another man. I remember that I really liked the story of this book, that's why I want to read it again, to know if it was really like that.

Y por último, Cartas de amor a los muertos. Este fue uno de los primeros libros que obtuve después de darme cuenta que amaba leer. Como su nombre lo indica, y si mal no recuerdo, la protagonista es una adolescente a la que le dejan de tarea de escribirle una carta a algún famoso fallecido. Entonces ella lo usó como una terapia para contarle su vida y sus sentimientos más íntimos que no se anima a expresar en voz alta. A partir de allí tomo como un hábito esto de escribirle a los muertos y conocemos su historia a través de estas cartas. Es un libro emotivo que merece ser recordado.

And finally, Love Letters to the Dead. This was one of the first books I got after realizing I loved to read. As the name suggests, and if I remember correctly, the main character is a teenage girl who is given the task of writing a letter to a famous deceased person. So she used it as a therapy to tell him about her life and her innermost feelings that she does not dare to express out loud. From then on, she made a habit of writing to the dead and we know her story through these letters. It is an emotional book that deserves to be remembered.
