¡Hola amigos lectores! Como estoy un poco lenta con mis lecturas pero quería hacer una publicación por acá, les vengo a hablar de esta primera compra que hice en el año, el segundo tomo de Heartstopper.
Desde agosto del año pasado que no me compraba ningún libro, todo un logro realmente. La verdad es que tenia muchos pendientes y me ponía mal seguir acumulando sin leerlos, ahora que ya baje la pila voy a volver recargada. 😉
Hello fellow readers! Since I'm a little slow with my reading but I wanted to make a post here, I'm here to tell you about this first purchase I made this year, the second volume of Heartstopper.
I haven't bought a book since August last year, quite an achievement really. The truth is that I had a lot of pending books and it made me feel bad to keep accumulating them without reading them, now that I've put the pile down I'm going to come back recharged. 😉
El martes fuimos con una amiga a un parque que tiene puestos de venta de libros nuevos y usados. Como soy colgada, y hacia un calor que rajaba la tierra, no le saque foto a los puestos, así que se los debo para la próxima vez que vaya.
Lo bueno de este lugar es que venden los libros más baratos de lo que los encontraría en una librería convencional. Por ejemplo, pague el segundo tomo de Heartstoppers a 2.200 pesos argentinos, cuando en una librería están 4.099. Lo que seria el doble.
On Tuesday we went with a friend to a park that has stalls selling new and used books. Since I'm hung up, and it was hot as hell, I didn't take a picture of the stalls, so I owe it to her for the next time I go.
The good thing about this place is that they sell the books cheaper than you would find them in a conventional bookstore. For example, I paid 2,200 Argentine pesos for the second volume of Heartstoppers, when in a bookstore they are 4,099 pesos, which would be double.
Y ya estuve fichando algunos otros que me quedé con ganas, así que volveré en algún momento y les traeré las fotos del lugar con lujo de detalles. Además es súper lindo porque es un parque muy grande donde hay espacio para sentarte a la sombra y hacer un picnic, los niños pueden jugar y hay caniles para que los perros puedan socializar con otros perros. Es un lugar bastante agradable.
And I've already been booking some others that I've been looking forward to, so I'll come back at some point and bring you the pictures of the place in detail. It is also super nice because it is a very large park where there is space to sit in the shade and have a picnic, children can play and there are kennels for dogs to socialize with other dogs. It is a very nice place.
Quiero recordarles que me compré el primer tomo de Heartstopper en la Feria del Libro de Buenos Aires del año pasado, pero todavía no lo leí porque quiero tenerlos completos. Son 4 tomos y una historia corta. Al tener el formato de escritura de historietas se leen muy rápido, es por esto que cuando tenga todos los puedo leer de corridos. Esa es mi idea.
De todos modos estoy familiarizada con la historia porque vi la serie de Netflix, que les tengo que decir que es muy hermosa y se las recomiendo si no la vieron, y de ahí me surgieron las ganas de leerme estos libros. Ya pronto debería salir la segunda temporada. Espero que para ese entonces ya los haya leído.
I want to remind you that I bought the first volume of Heartstopper at the Buenos Aires Book Fair last year, but I haven't read it yet because I want to have the complete volumes. There are 4 volumes and a short story. As they have the comic book writing format, they read very fast, that's why when I have all of them I can read them all in one go. That is my idea.
Anyway I'm familiar with the story because I watched the Netflix series, which I have to tell you is very beautiful and I recommend it if you haven't seen it, and that's where I got the urge to read these books. The second season should be out soon. I hope that by then I will have read them.
También estaban bastante baratos los de Harry Potter que me gustaría ir comprando de a poco. Leí la saga, pero no tengo los libros en físico y me gustaría tenerlos. Además también quiero probar si le gustan a mi sobrina que es fan de las películas pero no toca un libro ni por broma. Estoy intentando inculcarle el amor por la lectura.
Bueno eso es todo lo que quería contarles en esta publicación. Espero volver pronto con alguna reseña.

The Harry Potter books were also quite cheap and I would like to buy them little by little. I read the saga, but I don't have the books in physical and I would like to have them. Plus I also want to try if my niece who is a fan of the movies but won't touch a book not as a joke likes them. I am trying to instill in her a love for reading.
Well that's all I wanted to tell you in this post. I hope to be back soon with a review.
