My recent book review was for an erotica novel set in a historical setting. Upon completing the book, I developed an interest in exploring other works of historical fiction. So I searched Goodreads for suitable recommendations and discovered a western historical book that transported me back to a different time and place, filled with saloons, horseback rides, billowing skirts, rudimentary plumbing, and the distinctive drawl of a Texas accent. I thought to myself, yeah Haha, right!.

Anything Spectacular About The Book?
This book captivated me with its rich and engaging storyline. The book is set in a historical setting and does an excellent job of bringing the time period to life in a way that is both vivid and believable. One of the most spectacular things I like about this book is the character development. The main character, Ellie Lennox, is a complex and relatable character who undergoes significant growth throughout the story. Her interactions with Jack Granger, the ex-sheriff, and the other townspeople are well-written and provide a deeper understanding of her motivations and experiences.
The setting of the book is set in the rugged and wild Rocky Mountain mining town of Sage Canyon, Colorado, and the author does an excellent job of bringing the setting to life. The descriptions of the town, the people, their traditions and the surrounding landscape are rich and immersive, which made it easy for me to imagine myself in the world of the book that it was difficult for me to set down to do other activities.
And lastly, I like the unexpected twists and turns that kept me engaged from the beginning to end. The dark secret from Ellie's past is a particular highlight, as it provides a surprising and thought-provoking storyline that adds depth and intrigue to the story.
Like they say, "Nothing is perfect". I find the secondary characters of this book built flatly. They are all one-dimensional, lacking the depth and complexity of the main characters. This flaw can go unnoticeable while you read the book because the major keeps engaged and intrigued.
In conclusion, "A Heart Worth Healing" is a book that is full of positive elements that are sure to captivate and engage readers. Whether you are a fan of historical romance or you are just looking for a well-written and captivating story, this book is definitely worth checking out. Rating this book, I will give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. It's a must read if you enjoy western stories or historical fiction. It contains steamy explicit scenes, and strong words.
