The last book of the 'Rock kiss' series, did justice to all the rest of the series. I must commend Nalini Singh on how she wrote this particular book. She wrote the book basically on realities of life and not just fantasy. She has always been my favorite author for contemporary romance and supernatural.
Rock Wedding is a contemporary romance that was published on July 19, 2016 with 385 pages. This book was emotional and difficult for me to read because of what the heroine (Sarah) went through. It was also a trigger for me because it brought back old memories from my past but to be honest, the author surprised me because I was a little reluctant to read the book because of the Hero's (Abe) character in the previous series. This book gave me closure and I connected well through the perspective of the heroine.
A Little About the Plot
In the Rock Wedding, the long awaited story of Abe and Sarah was unveiled. Through this book I got to really understand why Abe's marriage failed and why Sarah divorced him. Before I thought Sarah was the bad guy not knowing that it was Abe who destroyed his marriage all by himself.
Abe lost his little sister a while back and he has carried the pain and loss with him that it began to affect him. It pushed him into doing drugs and becoming an alcoholic. He met Sarah when he was mourning the death of his little sister. Sarah brightens his world with her undying love but Abe did not love Sarah back the way she loved him. Amidst his pain for the loss of his little sister, during the anniversary, Abe lashed out at Sarah, broke her emotionally, mentally and made her feel she was worth nothing to him. Abe never knew that Sarah has reached her breaking point. With that, Sarah left and later filed for a divorce.
Sarah began her healing journey by picking up every piece of life together. She went ahead to create a successful business for herself and that road led her to being an independent and a strong woman. Through all Sarah encountered, she never for once left Abe stranded, even when she lost her baby boy. She was still there for Abe, but he pushed her away. Now Abe realizes that he has lost the important person in his life.
After Abe saw Sarah again at the Zenith tour, he made up his mind to fight back to get his Sarah back and show her how much he really loves her. But the question is, will Abe succeed now that Sarah is a strong and an independent woman? Will the universe give him another second chance to amend his ways with Sarah?
My opinion About The Book
This book was an amazing ride for me. It triggered some past memories for me and it gave me closure. Seeing Abe and Sarah reconnect back together was thrilling for me because they rebuilt their relationship based on friendship, honesty and passion.
The author of this book did well by revealing the depths of human nature and imperfect characters. It also revealed how growth and change can take place in a person's life for the better.
The Rock Wedding is an emotional romance that could be a trigger and bring tears to your eyes. Also, the author mixed everything up with a smile to your face. This book has passion, shows a road to healing and it was AMAZING!
The setting, plot and characterisation was well planned by the author. There was great flow in the plot and the epilogue at the was the epic part of the book.

My rating for this book is a 4 star and I recommend this book for contemporary romance lovers.
The book cover is beautiful for me, with a piano in the background that represents the hero (Abe) and his love for music. The book cover relates well with the storyline.
