Attention all half-bloods!
It's Percy Jackson's birthday!
And we got a trailer for the show!
When I saw that the trailer was out, I almost screamed. Also, the fact that we got a release date was so exciting! December 20th will be a great day.
The actors looked good, the CGI for Grover's legs didn't look weird (I will admit, I was a little worried), and we got more looks at the Camp. Also, the end of the trailer with the voice was very cool (and I'm assuming it was Kronos, which is even cooler). I actually have hope for this series, so I really hope it turns out good, because it sure looks good!
I also recently finished Sun and the Star, and it was such a great book!
SPOILERS AHEAD FOR BOTH SUN AND THE STAR AND BURNING MAZE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
Getting more background on Will and Nico's relationship was great and seeing it become stronger was amazing. I liked how it focused on how neither Will or Nico were just one way. Nico had a good side, Will had a dark side, and they brought it out in each other. Seeing Bob was so exciting and I was so happy when he got out and was able to see the sky (Bob says hello). And of course seeing Small Bob was fun too. The book made me laugh and cry, specifically the part where we learned what happened to Nico in the underworld and the mentions of Bianca and Jason (I'm still not over Jason's death to be honest, that book broke me so much). The part where Nico literally had to face and accept his inner demons was very clever in my opinion, and I also like how Nyx is in some ways justified, making her a more interesting villain. Technically, it was just her nature. Night and darkness never changes, and she is literally the night and darkness personified. Also the fact that Will didn't die made me so happy! I was so scared he would since Rick Riordan loves putting us through pain. I mean, he threw Percy and Annabeth in Tartarus and killed so many fan favorites (Jason, Luke, Silena, Beckendorf, the list goes on forever). But Will lived! Yes!
Anyway, I hope everyone has a good day! I haven't posted anything in a while, so at least I did that before school started (I still have a few weeks before school starts but this year I'm going to get home later so I don't know how much time I'm going to have to write). Enjoy summer at Camp Half Blood!
And a meme because we all need a good laugh sometimes, especially when reading Rick Riordan books.
