They can be crazy, ruthless, possessive, but above all passionate when they love, capable of burning the world for their girl, and the most important thing is that they all have happy endings.
I thought this book was very cute. It has tinges of Beauty and the Beast. On one side we have Bianca, the "broken" girl who lost her voice and is considered the black sheep of her family, but with a will of steel, a tenacious, daring and funny personality.
On the other hand, we have Mikhail, a man with a difficult past impossible to forget since not only the mirror reminds him of it, but the people who whisper behind his back every time they see him.
I think the central theme of this book is the process of coming to terms with love. Mikhail was the first to fall in love but his own insecurities made him feel inadequate and unworthy of Bianca's love.
He literally felt like a beast next to her and his insecurity blinded him because for him it was not possible for Bianca to feel love for him, for Bianca to find him attractive because "How is it possible with the way he looks?"
But Mikhail actually is a super loving and tender man who cares about his loved ones, something I loved madly was his behavior with the children. Really, what a beautiful and caring thing to do.
Bianca was a fundamental piece in his process of self-acceptance, thanks to her he was able to understand that he does deserve to have people who love him and that his looks don't define him or determine if he can be loved or not.
Bianca with her fun and sassy personality was able to brighten her days, and by the way, I loved the way she responded to criticism about her marriage and her husband. Like a queen who is not intimidated by anyone.

-No. I find Mikhail quite sexy.
-You're crazy.
-Wait till you see him in the tight Henley he wore this morning. Hot. I bet he looks even hotter without it.
I am all for feminism and emancipation, and I feel quite guilty because just thinking about Mikhail scaring men for looking at me gives me a tingling sensation between my legs.
-And tell Allegra that if she keeps spreading lies about my husband, I will tell everyone I know that he has implants in his butt and breasts. I took pictures of the doctor's report I found on his desk. Just one more word and I am sending them to all his friends. Make sure he knows that.
I give this book 4 stars. It has protagonists with deep stories, nice love, good spicy, funny moments.

Susurros Rotos es el segundo libro de la saga Perfecly Imperfect. Una saga de mafia y romance en dónde los protagonistas tienen algún Imperfecto, en palabras de la autora "antihéroes dañados". Pueden ser locos, despiadados, posesivos, pero sobretodo apasionados cuando aman, capaces de quemar el mundo por su chica, y lo más importante es que todos tienen finales felices.
Este libro me ha parecido muy lindo. Tiene tintes de La Bella y La Bestia. Por un lado tenemos a Bianca, la chica "rota" que perdió la voz y es considerada la oveja negra de su familia, pero con una voluntad de acero, una personalidad tenaz, atrevida y divertida.
Por otro lado, tenemos a Mikhail, un hombre con un pasado difícil imposible de olvidar ya que no solo el espejo se lo recuerda, sino las personas que susurran sus espaldas cada vez que lo ven.
Creo que el tema central de este libro es el proceso de aceptar el amor. Mikhail fue el primero en enamorarse pero sus propias inseguridades lo hacían sentirse insuficiente y poco digno del amor de Bianca.
Él literalmente se sentía como una bestia a su lado y su inseguridad lo cegaba porque para él no era posible que Bianca sintiera amor por él, que Bianca lo encontrara atractivo porque "¿Cómo es posible con su aspecto?"
Pero Mikhail en realidad es un hombre super amoroso y tierno que se preocupa por sus seres queridos, algo que amé con locura fue su comportamiento con los niños. De verdad, qué cosa tan hermosa y atenta.
Bianca fue una pieza fundamental en su proceso de autoaceptación, gracias a ella el pudo entender que sí merece tener personas que lo amen y que su aspecto no lo define ni determina si puede o no ser amado.
Bianca con su divertida y atrevida personalidad pudo iluminar sus días, y por cierto, amé la manera en la que ella respondía a las críticas sobre su matrimonio y su marido. Como toda una reina que no se deja amedrentar por nadie.

Estoy totalmente a favor del feminismo y la emancipación, y me siento bastante culpable porque solo pensar en Mikhail asustando a los hombres por mirarme me provoca una sensación de hormigueo entre las piernas.
Y dile a Allegra que, si sigue difundiendo mentiras sobre mi esposo, les diré a todos los que conozco que tiene implantes en el trasero y en los senos. Tomé fotografías del informe del médico que encontré en su escritorio. Solo una palabra más y se las envío a todos sus amigos. Asegúrate de que sepa eso.
A este libro yo le doy 4 estrellas. Tiene protagonistas con historias profundas, un amor bonito, buen spicy, momentos divertidos.
