Movie was okay but a bit too close to interstellar so wasn't a fan of Matt Damon starring in it again, lol. Maybe worth reading it after all this time since I've watched the movie?
No the martian is its own book. Artemis is his second book which didn't get a movie adaptation and hail mary is the third !
Both are unrelated so you could do in any order :) If you've already watched the martian you might as well discover a new one.
