A veces en la vida hay que autoevaluarnos, y reflexionar ante situaciones, que deshumanizamos a las personas, en mi familia he vivido bullyng alrededor de familiares que han nacido con un defecto físico, y esto ha causado en mi un gran dolor y angustia, analizando a los seres humanos como los seres más despectivo que hay en la faz de la tierra. Existen personas que viven de la apariencia física y que lamentable es su estilo de vida, sin pensar que algun día le pueda tocar vivir una situación similar a la que he pasado. Saco a colación esta reflexión porque una amiga muy vanidosa, vivia despreciando a muchos niños, y solo seleccionaba caras bonitas, me llenaba de mucha tristeza ver ese tipo de actitud de mi amiga, lo más triste que le paso a mi amiga fue que se caso con toda la vanidad del mundo, luego sale embarazada y su niña vino mal muy mal con una malformación congenita donde su carita era la afectada, mi amiga renegaba de Dios por la situación por la cual estaba pasando, donde su vida dio un giro de 180 grados cambio radicalmente, y siempre recordaba como se reia de niños con algún defecto físico, la vida es un boomerang y te da sorpresas.
Sometimes in life we have to evaluate ourselves, and reflect on situations that dehumanize people, in my family I have lived bullying around relatives who were born with a physical defect, and this has caused in me great pain and anguish, analyzing human beings as the most contemptuous beings on the face of the earth. I bring up this reflection because a very vain friend lived despising many children, and only selected pretty faces, it filled me with great sadness to see that kind of attitude from my friend, the saddest thing that happened to my friend was that she got married with all the vanity in the world, then she gets pregnant and her girl came very badly with a congenital malformation where her face was affected, my friend denied God for the situation she was going through, where her life took a 180 turn. degrees changed radically, and he always remembered how he laughed at children with some physical defect, life is a boomerang and it gives you surprises.
Luego con los años lei un libro que me lo recomendó una amiga, llamado "La lección de August", ella sabía la situación por la que estaba pasando con mis sobrinos, y al leer el libro me sirvio para reflexionar y autoevaluarme, y aliviar mis preocupaciones. y a mi mente vinieron esa situación por la que había pasado con mis familiares y por la situación de mi amiga.

A pesar de su defecto August se siente como un niño normal.

Lo más interesante de esta historia es al final, las personas que estan alrededor se dan cuenta que August es un niño normal,esta novela esta dividida en partes con la particularidad que cada personaje tiene un narrador distinto: Olivia (la hermana de August), Jack, Summer.

Es muy interesante la narración de la hermana de August enfocada en la preferencia del niño por su defecto lo cual siempre ha sido el centro de atención y entre ellos se crea un conflicto entre hermanos. Perfectamente el autor refleja la conducta de niños de 10 años con los típicos comentarios de bromas, hermandades y enfrentamientos que surgen entre compañeros de clase. Definitivamente es una novela que te roba el corazon y te ilumina el alma.
