Hoy haciendo un poco de limpieza en mi cuarto me conseguí con un regalo que me hizo mi papá hace tiempo y que he conservado por ser mi primer libro leído por amor y no por compromiso.
Today while doing some cleaning in my room I came across a gift that my dad gave me some time ago and that I have kept because it was my first book read out of love and not out of commitment.
Se trata nada más y nada menos que de el Principito, no es un libro de gran volumen pero a pesar de eso deja un gran mensaje que nos acompaña por toda la vida o bueno, al menos en mi caso. Desde la primera vez que lo leí quedé enganchada con el libro (tenía 11 años en ese momento) y enamorada con el lema de este. Es una novela corta que fue publicada en 1944 por el aviador y escritor francés Antoine De Saint-Exupéry coronándose como su obra más conocida y creo que es uno de los libros más famosos puesto que en la actualidad siguen haciéndose impresiones de él. No sé cómo hizo este escritor pero puedes tener cualquier edad pero al leer este libro automáticamente te sientes como un niño porque a pesar de ser un libro dedicado a los adultos, son los niños quienes realmente entienden su significado, quiero hacer una pausa para recordar que todos tenemos un niño en nuestro interior, viviendo aburrido dentro de nosotros así que por eso pienso que todos tenemos la capacidad de disfrutar de este libro.
It is nothing more and nothing less than the Little Prince, it is not a book of great volume but in spite of that it leaves a great message that accompanies us for life or well, at least in my case. From the first time I read it I was hooked on the book (I was 11 years old at the time) and in love with its motto. It is a short novel that was published in 1944 by the French aviator and writer Antoine De Saint-Exupéry crowning it as his best known work and I think it is one of the most famous books since prints of it are still being made today. I don't know how this writer did it but you can be any age but when you read this book you automatically feel like a child because despite being a book dedicated to adults, it is children who really understand its meaning, I want to pause to remember that we all have a child inside us, living bored inside us so that's why I think we all have the ability to enjoy this book.
Estaba hablando con mis tíos y me contaron que ese libro fue de lectura obligatoria en la bachillerato pero que lo leyeron por salir del paso y sin entender la profundidad que contiene, lo leyeron de nuevo algunos años después para llegar a la conclusión de que solamente tener el libro en sus manos fue una relación directa con su infancia y le dieron la razón al libro de muchas cosas porque ciertamente al crecer solemos olvidar como se siente ser un niño.
I was talking to my aunt and uncle and they told me that this book was required reading in high school but that they read it to get out of the way and without understanding the depth it contains, they read it again a few years later to come to the conclusion that only having the book in their hands was a direct relationship with their childhood and they gave the book the reason for many things because certainly as we grow up we tend to forget how it feels to be a child.
Para quienes no lo han leído aún (que esperan?) les haré un pequeño resumen del inicio, cuenta la historia de un piloto que, mientras intenta reparar su avión averiado en medio del desierto del Sahara, se encuentra con un pequeño príncipe oriundo del asteroide B 612, que le pide insistentemente que le dibuje un cordero y les pudiera seguir contando porque siento que todos debemos vivir está experiencia por cuenta propia así que no les contaré más jaja.
For those who haven't read it yet (what are you waiting for?) I'll give you a little summary of the beginning, it tells the story of a pilot who, while trying to repair his broken plane in the middle of the Sahara desert, meets a little prince from the asteroid B 612, who insistently asks him to draw him a lamb and I could go on telling you because I feel that we should all live this experience on our own so I won't tell you more haha.
Este libro a pesar de lo corto que es tiene grandes enseñanzas que todos los seres humanos (niños, adolescentes y adultos) debemos poner en práctica, aprender de ellos y compartirlo con otras personas. A mí parecer todos los personajes desde el zorro, la rosa y cada uno de los representantes de los planetas que visitó tienen un significado especial y su propia enseñanza, cada viaje fue un aprendizaje y eso es lo que lo hace uno de los mejores libros del mundo.
This book, in spite of its short length, has great teachings that all human beings (children, teenagers and adults) should put into practice, learn from them and share them with other people. In my opinion all the characters from the fox, the rose and each one of the representatives of the planets he visited have a special meaning and their own teaching, each trip was a learning experience and that is what makes it one of the best books in the world.
A pesar de ser el Principito el protagonista de esta historia, es el aviador quien cuenta su historia porque encuentra en él a un amigo y como me gusta decir: encontró un saco de enseñanzas andante jaja porque aprendió con sus historias y anécdotas, el valor de las cosas.
Although the Little Prince is the protagonist of this story, it is the aviator who tells his story because he found in him a friend and as I like to say: he found a walking bag of lessons haha because he learned with his stories and anecdotes, the value of things.
Uno de los puntos más importantes de este libro es la imaginación y su ejemplo que en los últimos años ha tenido más reconocimiento: El dibujo del "sombrero", entre comillas porque dependiendo de los ojos que lo miren tienen un significado diferente, puedes ver tu algo diferente a un sombrero? Es necesaria la imaginación que solo un niño tiene para poder ver más allá de lo aparente.
One of the most important points of this book is the imagination and its example that in recent years has had more recognition: The drawing of the "hat", in quotation marks because depending on the eyes that look at it have a different meaning, can you see something different from a hat? It is necessary the imagination that only a child has to be able to see beyond the apparent.
