I didn't give it a second thought when I saw the title of this fictional series on the list of stories to review for the collaboration, the title felt magical for me and I had expectations before I began to read... Of course, that it has to be a magical read.
And to the writer! you definitely went beyond my expectations with this, what a Heavenly Read!
I couldn't stop smiling when I got to the last the part of the series, that was simply because it all makes sense then and the story gave a conclusive end for me to learn so much from more than I had thought I would. Stories like this would sell in the market and I think the title and cover image would have to do a great job in making that possible.
The story isn't a regular kind, it isn't a generally known one and it definitely isn't something everyone get the chance to know about... The story gave a lot out about what it could be like in the celestial world (Heaven). The Christians would relate easily with this story as every paragraph gives off imaginable descriptions of a world in the space between.
Truth be told, the beginning of the story gave me wandering thoughts on what direction the writer was taking me, I even felt lost at a point but somehow as if the writer had it planned that way, I found myself engrossed until I got a direction that led to more of my curiosity to how it was all going to end.
It's a one of a kind story from all the reads I've had, another amazing thing about the story or maybe the writer is the creative and imaginative description of the things and it's characters used in the story... I could actually picture almost everything mentioned in the story, thanks to her amazing description.
It's always unique when a writer could do this, I admire her for this.
It would be worthy of note that this story is inspired by a song
I couldn't help but imagine how it was for the writer to have listened to the song and come up with this amazing story that simply made my heart happy and feel a refreshing reminder to be a better Christian. Indeed... Heaven is being underrated as said in the song and expressed more in the story.
I would love to go over each part of the story, there are one, two and three parts but I think it's best I give out a tiny bit of all of it so you could go read and get a full detail of what I find as a Heavenly read. You'll enjoy reading this if you could take time out to imagine what the writer had in mind while writing every description, at some point you'll smile or laugh (I wish I could point a part that cracked me up but I won't, you should find it when you read it).
My thought on the story
I think I've said a lot of my thoughts on the story already but I'd like to do that again with the story plot in review so you'll get a glimpse of what you're about to read from this amazing writer.
Like I said, it's a Heavenly read and that is because it has a character that come off like a new addition to the angels in Heaven (maybe a righteous one who made it to Heaven) but had to go through a test for what's ahead of him. Like every human would normally do which we really need to stop, he worried on how to overcome the test until he asked for help from the Almighty. That act was a lot to learn from.
Another character mentioned in the story seem to be the test itself for the Guardian, I like the description of who she is and how calmly she was explained to be. Her part of the story is what got me thinking so much about my Christian life and I think you'll find her to be an interesting character as well.
Conclusively, I love the story and I think it will be worth your time. It isn't a very long read if you think you'd get bored and it has all it takes to have you reading till the end. I hope you do read it and give your thoughts on what you think about it.
Special thanks to the writer for sharing this story on Hive, it's an honour to review your story and I'll appreciate your correction if I misinterpreted your story in any way in my review. This is my entry to the collaboration of Dreemport, Hive book club and scholars&scribes challenge and you're invited to join in as well.
